Hydrangeas really are some of the most worthwhile garden plants. Not only are they easy to care for, but they also flower for months on end; from the middle of summer right through into autumn. Once flowering has finished, they even can be cut for use as indoor dried flowers. Their showy blooms come in shades of white, through cream and pink to mauve and blue, with some gorgeous subtle greens thrown in for good measure! They have many different flower forms, from dainty ‘lacecap’ varieties to the huge, football-sized flowers of ‘Strong Annabelle’. There’s bound to be one just right for you!
