A robust, fast-growing, fairly broad-leaved endive suitable for sowing in autumn as well as spring. It produces full and heavy heads. Avance can be sown early under glass or in the open at a temperature of approx. 20°C. It can withstand a light frost in autumn. Eat either raw in a salad or cooked. |
