Also known as Iris Barbata. The large bulbs produce bright green leaves and sturdy stems carrying wonderfully shaped brown and gold flowers. There are still gardeners who think that Iris Barbata like to grow in wet soil, but in fact, they do like normal garden soil. Irises are very popular both in the garden and as a cut flowers because they are so strong and hardy. |
