Lilies are wonderful in the flower border and are also very suitable for a cut flower corner. Plant the bulbs of Lilium ‘Graffity’ as soon as possible after receiving them. Choose a spot in full sun or partial shade and prepare a spacious planting hole. Place the bulbs 12-15 cm deep in the soil and about 15 cm from each other with the point upwards. Water generously after planting. Lilies grow best in loose soil, rich in humus. Improve the soil by adding some compost or cow manure granules.

There are 110 species of lilies and any of these varieties would look fantastic grown in groups in the garden. Lilium ‘Graffity’ is a new lily with very striking flowers. The yellow petals are speckled with fine dark purple spots. Lilies make great cut flowers; in fact, the delicious scent of the flowers fills the living room in seconds. Definitely plant a group of lilies in your flower garden. To avoid pollen stains while cutting the lilies, make sure the anthers of the flower are facing away from you.

Lilium ‘Graffity’ loves to face the warm sun, but it is important to keep their ‘feet’ cool. For this to be achieved, plant low growing plants around the lilies to protect the soil Water more often in dry periods. We recommend you give the Lilium ‘Graffity’ some plant food on a regular basis. Remove the spent flowers and this will encourage more flowers to form. Beware of the orange lily beetle as it is the lily's worst enemy! These creatures can best be controlled by manually catching and removing them. Several pesticides exist, but lily beetles rapidly become immuned to them. Cover the Lilium bulbs in wintertime with a layer of leaves to protect them from severe frost.
