TThe spectacular flowers of the new and exclusive Giant Hibiscus 'Luna' are very large. The largest have a diameter of up to 25-30 cm! The flowers even when in bud still look very special. Between the sepals, folded giant flowers of the Hibiscus are clearly seen. Another beautiful Hibiscus is a 'Rosa-chinensis', which is a well-known indoor plant with large flowers, however, this variety is not hardy and is therefore only suitable as a summer patio plant or indoor plant. Hibiscus belongs to the Abutilon and Magnolia family.

Remove the faded flowers of your Giant Hibiscus 'Luna' to ensure a richer flowering. Water regularly to prevent the roots from drying out, we also recommend using a plant food regularly when watering. Are you growing your Large-Flowered Hibiscus in a flower pot? If so, we recommend that you rotate the pot as the flowers always turn to the light. Protect the plant from bright sunlight during the summer, the flowers will then bloom through until the first frost. Although this Hibiscus is hardy it will die back in winter returning the following year. It will need to be brought indoors during the winter for protection.
