Calibrachoa 'Million Bells' Mixed - Plant

Choose a pot with holes in the base or a hanging basket. Cover the bottom with a layer of potsherds or gravel. Put fresh compost in the pot and place the mixed Calibrachoa at the correct depth and about 20 cm apart. Fill with potting compost and press firmly. Water generously immediately after planting. They will enjoy and bloom best in a spot in full sun.

Because of the hanging growth habit Calibrachoa mixed are ideal for hanging baskets. The stems will grow well between other plants and hang elegantly over the edge. The special mixed blends of colour will look amazing. The flexible stems of Calibrachoa can also lay on the soil which also makes it a good bedding plant that will flower all summer long. In a flower bed they want to be about 30 cm apart from each other.

It's quite noticeable that the Calibrachoa is closely related to the Petunia. Calibrachoas are available in many colours, sometimes the flowers are even bicoloured. For a second flowering all you need to do is remove the dead flowerheads. For an extra rich flowering we advise adding fertilizer regularly when watering. Water regularly but do not allow the compost to dry out. Calibrachoa is an annual plant that dies in winter.
